The Department of Ancient Greek and Roman Studies provides comprehensive advising support for current and prospective undergraduates. Whether you need help declaring a major, planning your degree, getting enrollment assistance, or taking placement diagnostics, our advisors are here to assist you.

🎓 Faculty Undergraduate Advisors (2026–27 Academic Year)

Department faculty hold weekly in-person office hours to discuss research, coursework, and academic specialization. In addition, two faculty members serve as dedicated Faculty Undergraduate Advisors:

Cassandra assists students with program planning, declaring majors, navigating degree requirements, and exploring career pathways or study abroad opportunities.

    • Wednesdays: 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Enrollment Troubleshooting: If you encounter an error adding a DAGRS course on CalCentral, email Presi with your Student ID number, the course name, and the exact error message or description of the issue.

  • Course Articulation & Study Abroad Credit: If you completed related coursework in another UC Berkeley department, at another college, or during study abroad, you can request to apply those credits toward your major or minor.
