Biography
Lauren Nguyen grew up in Atlanta, GA. She completed her BA in Classics at Columbia University in 2019. After graduating from Columbia, she was the 2019-2020 Pearson Fellow of the Society for Classical Studies at St. Hilda's College in Oxford before coming to Berkeley. Her interests revolve around ancient drama and the tensions it stages with regards to marginalized identities.
She is thrilled to have participated in the following productions of the Barnard Columbia Ancient Drama Group: Trachiniae (2016), Troades (2017), Batrachoi (2018), Herakles (2019), and Iphigeneia at Aulis (2021). Outside of classes, she likes pulp fantasy novels and 90s sci-fi.
