The Sara B. Aleshire Center for the Study of Greek Epigraphy is pleased to announce that the 2024 Aleshire Epigraphy Seminar will be given on
September 16, 2024 by Professor Mustafa Adak. The seminar is entitled: "«To renew old friendships». Diplomacy of Hellenistic poleis as reflected in a new sympoliteia decree from Magnesia ad Maeandrum" and will be held at the Classics Conference room 7205 at 3.30pm. Professor Mustafa Adak is the leading Turkish epigraphist and he has promised to treat us to a new unpublished inscription of more than a 100
lines(!).
